Partamol 500 (blister)
Each film - coated tablet contains: 500 mg Paracetamol
For treatment of mild to moderate pain and fever, especially in patients in whom salicylates are containdicated or not tolerated. The drug is most effective in relieving low intensity pain of non-visceral origin.
Patients with impaired kidney or liver function.
Patients with alcohol dependence.
Patients who have shown hypersensitivity or idiosyncrasy to any components of drug.
Patients with deficiency of glucose - 6 - phosphate dehydrogenase.
Partamol is only administered orally.
Adult: 1- 2 tablets, 3-4 times a day.
Children 2 to 6 years: ½ tablet, 3-4 times a day.
Children 7 to 12 years: ½-1 tablet, 3-4 times a day.
The total daily consumption of paracetamol should not exceed 4 grams.
Pregnancy and Lactation:
The safety of the drug for use in human pregnancy has not been established.
The drug may be excreted in breast milk. Because of potential for hypersensition to drug effects in newborn, the drug should not be used in lactating women.
The drug may cause mild CNS stimulation, especially in patients who are hypertensive to the effects of sympathomimetic drugs
